WHO ARE WE?
Ansaar is a small registered charity and a voluntary organisation, supporting adults with learning disabilities in Leicestershire.
We work in partnership with adults who have learning disabilities. All our services are co-produced with local communities to deliver culturally responsive services.
Ansaar uses a person centred approach to support adults with learning disabilities to reach their potential by recognising their passions, strengths and skills.
We encourage learning disabilities rights by influencing positive changes through representation and advocating at various forums, meetings and events locally and nationally.

At Ansaar, we have the 'Be-Inspired' project which delivers inter-active sessions for adults with learning disabilities.
Our sessions encourage informal learning through activities that promote literacy and numeracy. All our activities are designed to develop confidence, promote positive wellbeing and encourage integration in the wider community.

WHAT DO WE DO?
OUR VISION
Ansaar’s vision is equality for adults with learning disabilities and all carers. We challenge negative stereotypical views, myths and cultural barriers to transform prospects of what is possible and ensure that adults with learning disabilities and carers achieve their full potential.
